Last Campaign Post: I Really Wish...
Baring a runoff, this is my last campaign post.
I really wish people will not vote the PDP in for another 4 years.
I really wish people will understand that the billions of dollars that have been spent campaigning for Jonathan would have to be paid back to the individuals and organizatrions that contributed
I really wish people will understand that the leaders of PDP in each state will form the Federal Government exco in the next dispensation.
As my friend Chidi put it
If you vote for Goodluck Jonathan this Saturday, then imagine Iyabo Obasanjo as Health Minister, Omisore as Internal Affairs Minister, Gbenga Daniel in Works and Housing, Oyinlola in Defence and Alao Akala (of course he's going to lose) in Police Affairs!! Bode George returns as Special Adviser and a presidential pardon. It will be business as usual, just as the last 12yrs have been!!”
The response of the GEJ supporter was "we will not allow it happen". I laughed because he was caught unawares and obviosly does not understand PDP's policy.
I really wish people understand that the branch of an Iroko is an Iroko. That Jonathan is just a branch of the PDP.
I really wish people understand that any man that allows Jonah Jang of Plateau, Timi Sylva of Bayelsa and Theodore Orji of Abia to return to their states for another four years has obviously put self before country.
I really wish my friends l understand that though Jega has tried, the elections were not REALLY free and fair (see this example) but because of the devil that OBJ and Iwu are, anything slightly better than the 2007 disaster, has been hailed to the high heavens.
I really wish people understand that the Devil you know is NOT better that the angel/devil you do not know if the devil you know will surely destroy you.
I really wish people know that ANY PARTY but the PDP is the right party to vote. ( I am not sure how many are left since 47 parties endorsed Jonathan yesterday #NigerianPoliticsIsAJoke)
I really wish people would understand that voting is done with a conscience your conscience knows what is right. That they have until tomorrow to do what is morally right.
